My peace is like a shaft of golden light shining on you continuously. During days of bright sunshine, it may blend in with your surroundings. On darker days, My Peace stands out in sharp contrast to your circumstances. See times of darkness as opportunities for My Light to shine in transcendent splendor. Collaborate with Me in this training. Do not grow weary and lose heart.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [Put it out or absorbed it or appropriated itm and is unreceptive to it]. -John 1:4-5
Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. -Hebrews 12:3
Nothing can block out God’s great shining light, nothing can keep God from helping you other than yourself. He wants to help you and be there for you if you let him. He is peace, not that he will keep all bad things from you but to give you the “equipment” and love to get through them. Knowing that God will never leave you and that he will not burden you with more than you can carry. The darkness of life cannot penetrate the light of Christ, you can rest assured in that. SPend time with Christ when things get hard and when things are easy. Ask God to prepare you for the future and all it holds in store for you. We sometimes think that what we are going through is too much for us to handle or maybe its just difficult but maybe these hard times are preparing us for a chasm that can’t be crossed without the burden we had. Like a cross, sometimes it feels too heavy but we must bear it, we can’t cut off some for it to be made easier to carry for it may become too short to cross the canyon of life later on.
Trust in God and pray, spend time in his word, hide the word of God in you heart so that in all situations you may have peace and reassurance in Christ.
